The Houston based dine-in theater concept will bring first run films, an extensive menu and a full-service bar opening this spring as it expands its Illinois footprint. Star Cinema Grill signed a 15-year lease for the approximately 42,000 square-foot location, according to a news release.

The only other Illinois location for the company, the IPIC South Barrington, also closed recently. IPIC Theatres continues to operate theaters in eight states around the country. and the Cinemark at Seven Bridges and IMAX in Woodridge, and the Regal Bolingbrook 12 in Bolingbrook. Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Hollywood Blvd. It was later simplified to its current name.
